Just do what I did for a temporary fix. go to http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_ttf/ and download the mac binary and dump it into the frameworks directory. That is how I got it up and running after I saw the post about it not working and it missing the ttf library.

Yes. SDL_ttf is now a dependency of the eAthena client.

Sorry, I will get this fixed asap.

Xcode was meant to copy the framework into the .app automatically, guess it let me down :(

Question about the Mac version.

The game doesn't fill the screen (1680x1050) : two black bars at left and right (like a standard monitor).

I run the game in Win/Linux with a full screen. Is there some config file I can tweak? (The screen dimension settings in the game don't seem to work (not clickable). ) Or are these limitations not fixable on the Mac.

System
Mac OS 10.4.11 (all updates installed)
MacBook Pro
Core Duo

Glad to post any more info if required.

For all clients, you need to edit the config file for now. The values are screenwidth and screenheight. Add them if they aren't already there.

Thanks, jaxad0127, for the speedy reply.

However, I may need my hand held a bit.

I've just tried adding the following to the configuration file:
<option name="screenheight" value="1080"/>
<option name="screenwidth" value="1680"/>
But the game will not start.

EDIT:

I just added these two lines and it worked just fine:
<option name="screenheight" value="500"/>
<option name="screenwidth" value="800"/>
I tucked it just under
<option name="screen" value="1"/>
And it works fine.

Where on earth did you get 1080?

its 1680x1050 and this is the resolution I use.

Ah. A simple mistake. Must've gotten the 8 from 1680.
