unable to chat

when i hit the enter key (return is set as the command to chat), i am unable to type in a message. obviously, this is a problem, as i cannot use magic because of it. i am running a vista sp1 with the latest mana world package. any help is appreciated

Is the chat window visible? If not, make it so (there is a keyboard shortcut for doing that).

Have you changed resolution? This happened to me when I changed from 1280x1024 to 1024x768, with the chat window on the bottom edge, -- the chat window is still there, but off the screen. Change back to a higher resolution and move the windows, or edit config.xml and change WinX and WinY values.

The default resolution is 800x600. So as long as you're above that, you can reset all the window positions (theres a button for it in the setup dialog).

are you writing your spells in the right tab ?
