i used a mana potion, went to the mana seed, got the log spell, and i cant use it. also '#abizit' doesnt do anything either, i dont know whats happening.

Have you asked someone about this in game? Is your mana bar blue or grey? If it's grey, then you are probably wearing armor that hinders the casting of spells.
