I have tried to log in about 20 times today and all I get is "The connection to the server was lost, the program will now quit", I'm using the Git repository and I have been having this problem before, but usually I can eventually been able to log in. Does anyone know why this is?

I encountered this strange problem too.

I was able to log in with the latest release client and afterewards it worked again with the git client.

Interestingly it was already a while ago when I last recompiled.

Maybe Jaxad0127 can say something about this.

We're not sure what's happening with it.

It happens pretty often.
Also often there is strange… lag (?). Sometimes I can't hit any monster, sometimes even all players, NPCs and monsters disappear. I can freely walk around a map, but not leave it: passages disappear too. Then sometimes everything back okay in some time (sometimes long time), sometimes everything ends with the mentioned error.

This is very strange, because I have just logged in right now, with no issues. And yet, I haven't updated the client.

It's not a disconnection from the server in fact.
Let's say that we are proceeding to maintain and normalize a few things before downgrading all accounts ... some will even be deleted.
Just normal life, don't worry too much, or else ...

This seems to be fixed in latest git
