I highly agree with you lien,
On the wiki mana pages under List of Items then under subsection health items
it also shows what items should be taken for an increase in SP (spell points)
Items include:
cactus potion 10 SP
petal 5 SP
small mushroom 5 SP
Orange Cupcake 10 SP
beer 5 SP
Chicken legs 5 SP
However, I've tested some of these items when I've cast a few spells and have not seen a gain in magic after consumption.
(I may be wrong in what SP means)
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

They are supposed to provide a bonus, but apparently that was removed, or never added in the first place.

Hi,
the SP boni for those items were removed to ensure that rich players would not be able to gain too much of an advantage over poor players when it comes to casting spells.

Why don't we make it just like the Hard Spike than they can't buy it and have to grind for it.

Thank you for your reply fate,
and for lien for making this tread.
One way to fix that would be to impose limits on the amount you can drink, per lvl of mastery of your magic(checked by albizit).
so at a 10-20% lvl you could only drink one potion at a given time.
at lvl 100% you could drink maybe 10 or so.
In other words just make the max amount of drinking to be around 10 potions so it wouldn't be abused.
Effectively, each potion gives 1/10 of the total max magic per use.

beer should have a limit to and sart decreasing health if a player has had to much
but dose not go below 50%
