Hi all,
I'm a noob trying to enhance the look of the buildings in the desert area of TMW.
Here are some very basic tweaks that still have a few issues in certain areas.
One of the goals of these changes is to make the buildings blend in more naturally with the sandy environment. Next step is to add textures to the walls - could be tricky! :O

The majority of that tileset needs to be retouched in some way.
You're very much welcome on board for even considering that which we've been avoiding for years.
Also, if you slightly break current mapping for tileset improvements: well, it just means our mappers will finally have something to do again.

Was looking in the collection of forgotten stuff and found some *really* nice walls Modanung had been working on for Tulimshar. See: Matt's 3rd post for links or click here for Modanung's photobucket page with more
I've ridden on the coattails of Modanung's genius and am working on finishing the Tulimshar wall set, every so slowly. Have attached a preview - still needs a lot of TLC (need to add gates, fix textures, shadows, etc and chop into 32x32 blocks) but hopefully it will come in handy.
