Snowland Yetis

Post by pateame »

I was looking for unfinished monster graphics and I found 2 different "yetis" still under work for Iceland. I don't know if Modanung or hkurn are actually working on finish their Yeti graphics, so, I will give my point of view on those graphics to help a little.

* First concept is from Modanung Yeti, I add new postures as attack, death, and front view stuff.

* Second concept is from hkurn/bcs86 Yeti, I was trying to draw an attack posture based on previous ideas from their [WIP] post.

I really like the first one. The second one I wasn't to fond of from the beginning, honestly. Great work!

I think both have great potential.
  • former Manasource Programmer
  • former TMW Pixel artist
  • NOT a game master

Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Any reason why the feet slide in the side views during the attack animation?

Good point Len! I suposse those creatures can`t skate or do the moonwalk. Feet slide doesn`t looks natural, Maybe some static position or a little jump can be added soon when time lets me.
At moment I´m also working with the second Yeti concept. There's a short view of the current progress with front and side views, with lot of stuff unfinished too.

Feel free to comment about it, it's just a concept.

I changed the bug of the right/attack.

We saw a dead frames when the monster attacked us by the right side, just a little bug on the xml.
