[WIP] Land Lizard type beast.

Messing around in gimp and wonder if this would be the correct perspective for a large monster such as this.

Yes I know it's all out of wack. (Wishes he had a tablet to actually draw outlines with)
Yes I know the shadeing sucks what I have tried to.

Any help or feed back?

draw it larger, scale down and then pixel outlines on different layer

I might try that I. I figure something this size would give me room to learn some proper shading.
Found a few tutorials on the web. Kinda wish I even had a scanner around. XD ummm....I think I might have to go dig one up. XD

You can probably get away with keeping the first half like this.

Yhea it seemed to be off to me. I just wondered if going with a true 30 might look weird.
It actually might be easier to do at the correct perspective. I guess I was looking for that middle ground.
Thank you for the correct perspective Len. I'll see if I can do it like that instead. Just wondering what it would look like thou. That's alot of monster on the screen. :)

I cant wait to see the finished version. This game definitely needs more large creatures and this one fits the bill! Len's walk cycle is so fluid, it would be an awesome sight in game if you can pull off the look and animation you got going.

Just wondering why the joint balls in the animation switch between red and black. Is there some special meaning?

Nice if you could finish this, unfortunately a big monster never was finished, Iam sure there are dozens of concepts laying around in the forums.

I'm working on it.
Still not to happy with the shape. It's gonna be altered as I go I guess. idk.

Really once I get the right first frame then I have enough to make a full monster sheet. I'll have my shape and proportions down.
The animation will help alot. I'm gonna use that as my base guide for the walking frames.
This thing is large thou. XD

I'll probably redraw the walk (its not exactly walking in the direction we want)

Seems the leg structure isn't quite right. I have more in my head then down in pixel but I'll keep messing with it.

LOL We know how you lurk in the shadows now. :)
