The frames with alpha layer and underwear (and without facial expression) are in your TMW directory.

I rather prefer version without underwear :P
Underwear should be additional item.

Len I total agree but there was a huge uproar in some circles when it was realized that Lizzy from the "Rampage" arcade game shrunk down to a nude woman (her waist was only 3 pixels wide what on earth was someone going to see  )

Yes, the link you gave is not working but the original "Rampage" put out by Midway in the 1980's

To bring things back to the sword attack animation for a bit. I looked at all the sword attacks that have been done for here and I looked at how other games did a sword attack. Fundamentally the way the sword swings is the same but the animations shown here all stopped and returned to start after one swing. This gives the swing a chopping axe type motion but never really looked sword like. All the other games had two swinging motions on their base attacks. There is the initial swing and a back swing that returns the sword to the start position. I have seen this done to look good for both double and single edged weapons. I took this animation because I felt it was the closest to what was needed to show what I am talking about. I cut the first swing to 3 frames and added 2 second swing making it a total of 6 frames. This is very rough and not meant to be a finished animation at all. I hope its a step in the right direction.

that is fantastic for one handed swords with a bit of polishing it could be great! but we would need something slightly different for two handed weapons.

Please drop that second swing - it doesn't reflect the (new) game mechanics and means two unnecessary frames. Also note that a "chopping axe type motion" isn't that bad because the same animation is supposed to be used for axes.
