I would call it far enough away from the original to not be a case of plagiarism, but I still wonder if it's style isn't a bit too far away from the other NPC sprites.

It is according to me. We currently do not have any NPC that size and with this posture.

these where the boots I started with mostly because sylvious hated this version.
these were for another game.

I looked at many many images of dwarves and postures from the web, I think my wip pics show this was not copied from any existing image.

I had the same questions about the pose when I posted this over a year ago, does it fit tmw.
I temporarily abandoned it after reading all npc's needed to be full frontal view.
Wombat encouraged me to work on this some more because he liked the perspective....
The image posted here was the first early version, the finished version is archived on trello.
