Thanks guys!

@Crush:I might look in to it, thanks for the info, I don't really want to be a pixel artist though, I am kind of a filler, until I have more people within my project to pixel. But I will look in to shaping and such. Thanks for the advice, do you have any favorites for pixeling tuts.

@Wildx: Thanks for noticing my shading, it took me few minutes to get the hang on pixel shading.

There are some good tutorials on our graphic guidelines page on the wiki. http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Guidelines. I can especially suggest the tutorial "so you want to be a pixel artist" by tsugumo.

You might also want to google some tutorials about color theory. This might maybe show you why using a bright green font on a light brown background is not a good idea (hint! hint!).

Do you guys have an idea for what I should add to the helmet to make it more attractive. I personally thing it doesn't look boring or anything, simply plain. I made this helmet with no idea on what I was doing so cut me some slack.

just reducing color pallet and talking through shading on skype.

Edit: I just noticed this is my 1337 th post.... woot I'm 1337 :)
