*have a look in the Top Hat as example, you will see the colors are not really Black but a bit purple

You are using too many exactly vertical and diagonal lines. You need to practice how to pixel curves and circles.

I made a scream mask ages ago...
Its on TOW, looks rather similar.

I made it ages ago...

Never finished it really.
It's on my server though.

Just noticed the mana sword, I made a mana dagger...
I'll upload it in my next post
