Plums are better when purple imho. We could maybe make it redyable.

I drew a plum which is (hopefully) closer in style to the apple (thanks Ali-G and Jenalya for your tips):

And I tried to draw a cherry, but it's not looking so good and I'm not sure how to improve it:

Thoughts?

Between the border angles and the shading, the cherry looks like a cube.
Decrease the contrast between the sides and have more of a middle.
Also, use red rather than pink.

For the shape, either change to a cube, or change the perspective - there shouldn't be much of a "point" on the bottom in any case, and it should be completely invisible if you can see the top of the cherry. Likewise, the flatness of the top is only visible from the side, not from the top.
Though, it would probably be best to do a pure side view rather than try to keep the point of contact of the stem visible.

updating the game graphics overall is bad? idk if they graphics are kept to a standard low to help accomodate computers with lower specs

Having bad graphics doesn't improve anything for users with low-end systems.

Keep in mind that I used way to many colors in the WOA grassland tileset by pixel art standards, it still takes up less space than the tmw desert tileset (so WOA's graphics would probably be just as taxing as TMW)...so updating the graphics will only really hurt you if you go crazy with the pallet or start using the blurr tool like i did with the TMW forest set (its about 431kb)

You'll notice a big increase in file size here

I don't think anyone is using a SNES to play TMW so it shouldn't really matter anyways..

Len, why are you so amazing?

However... it's kinda too large to fit with the other fruit icons. Unless you'd like to redraw those as well ( :D ), I don't know if it's similar enough...

an attempt at the plum but our lead graphics dev said it would not be used already because its size does not meet his personal taste.

Edit: Does this somewhat represent a purple ass to anyone else? xD

Yes, someone I showed it to on IRC.

LMAO kk

Edit: Made it smaller (by shrinking). Than fixing what was necessary to adjust to size.
