Looks great however let me give you some thoughts and tips:
  • Make her clothes be of the same type of the other giant NPCs.
  • Make her slightly more muscular with a more tanned skin.
  • The outline of her haircut makes it stick out way too much... try looking at current haircuts and see how this is done.
  • What is she holding? Make that be a barbarian cooking tool, it might be better.
  • Her legs are really weird... is she sitting or standing?
  • Make her be much taller and make her stand straight.
  • Make her have some better boots than that... Fluffy boots?
Great job, keep it up!

Great job? after all those things, I don't think it is. I will try and do everything you have said, but I will not make her more muscular or change the clothes.

Thanks for your views.

Another update, instead of just no door, I put a leather skin....that has a rip strait down the middle, so you can pull it apart. At least that was what I intended for it to be =) and the outline of the door is brown fur =)

Well, for one thing the tent should be more than one tile.

I'm not sure what shape of tent this is supposed to be - prism, cone, or flattish. In any case it's hard to find pictures of tents, especially since most modern tents are (for obvious reasons) semi-spherical, which is not one of the choices for the target period.

I know it is small, but Is there any tool on GIMP that allows you to enlarge?

None which do not destroy your work when you do pixel art.

When you want to change the size of a pixel art work, you usually don't get around redoing it from scratch. That's why you should decide the exact width and height of your work before you even start.

Looks very nice but it would be good to fix the perspective before anything else.

It is just a little older and a little East than the Roman Empire. It comes from the Greeks. 'Barbar' means people not speaking the language (which is obviously ancient Greek.) Even the Romans where barbarians.

Lets just says: Romanes Eunt Domus / Romani Ite Domum
