Ok this is where I will be posting up all the concept art I draw. This topic will have new sketches nearly every day. I draw and get better, but to get better, I have to get advice and improve my work, so please post something constructive and something that could/would help me. Thanks.

Now the boring part is over, here come my sketches!

Wow, those are great man!
I like the armor, it looks very mystical to me. That sword is cool too, I like the design on it.
The jagged(spikey) side of the sword looks a little weird in my opinion. Maybe it shouldn't be there.

The skull helmet and stone spear are too generic to me. I know you could come up with better stuff because you seem to have quite an imagination.

Thanks for the reply, I really didn't like the skull helmet anyway but posted it up to see if people agreed. I got two more right here. And I'll take in that point about being mystical, as I like doing that sort of theme.

I think I'm done for today but I'll get more tomorrow.

I like the armor, would you mind doing a more detailed and finished version of the armor?

Also, conceptual work has little meaning besides inspiration if it's just random sketches. You should read our wiki and try to get into the world and try to expand on the world. At the moment I'm looking for someone to do jungle stuff and your armor pretty much fits into my vision of it: light and agile in camouflage colors (at least in my head, green copper). So please start to expand on that theme.

Ok, so I'll start the jungle thing. But what do you mean with the finished version of the plate? If you mean colouring it, then I really don't wanna because I can't...I can't colour... :(

But I did do this sketch of a jungle. Take note of the tree on the right is hollow, which makes it an opening for maybe an entrance of a dungeon or something like that. It took me a couple of hours because it was my first attempt at making scenery only. Hope you all like it.

Big version:

As I said, a more detailed and finished version of the armor, not necessarely in color.

As for the jungle sketches, you might want to concentrate on how the architecture could look. The main theme should be about "blending into nature and coexisting with it in harmony". Those jungle views are a bit (too) impressionistic to my taste.

So you mean you want buildings? 'Cos I can do buildings better than just scenery. I might do the armor today too. But I don't get what more do you want out of the armor? Bigger? More little signs and symbols on it? I just can't see what to make better (sorry). Tell me the things to tweak please.

Ok I sketched a house that might belong in a jungle. It is make of bamboo, and a straw roof (don't know if it works), but all I was trying to do is making it small. The basic colours of the house would be all the colours you would find in a jungle.

Xephys what do you think about a hause in the tree ? It would be nice if the jungle has hauses on the floor and hauses in the trees.

Your draws are very good ! :P

Sorry for my bad english , I'm from Brazil.

the forestbow. the stripes in camouflage colors make the archer almost invisible when hiding in the bushes.

Woah, Crush, that is exactly how I pictured the armor in my head.
And the bow looks better colored also. 8)

Xephys, your "bamboo" house doesn't look much like bamboo, but you said you were new at drawing concept art for buildings. I know what you were trying to portray with the "hut" though. I like the door of leaves.

First of all, thanks to Crush for colouring in the armor and the bow. :D

LEGOLAS, thanks for the compliment and don't worry about your english, its very good. I was thinking of making a house on a tree at first but then I thought about the game and if it was possible at this stage of development.

Kinetic, Got any tips on making better looking bamboo sticks? 'Cos I have no clue!

Eww Matt, get a hold of yourself.

I'm gonna draw some more weapons today. Jungle related (maybe) so you could sell it in a jungle weapon shop or something.

Ok two new weapons. They look pretty cool me to (surprisingly).

The Bardiche is better than the sword IMO, because I drew the sword too quickly (I had the bardiche idea shortly after starting the sword) so I didn't take care when drawing... Oh well I think people will get the general idea. And incase you don't have any clue how they could be used in a jungle, well, the sword could be used as a machete. And the bardiche as a tool for cutting trees maybe? Dunno... I can only draw.
