Ali-g....the fin is transparent, so you can see the other side of the helmet! anyway, the problem was the shape, not transparency

Well on your icon, the transparency wasn't regular. I just uniformed it a bit...

I still prefer my version...the transparency wasn't supposed to be uniform, i wanted to emphasize the outline of the helmet behind the fin.

ok Liz I got the latest fix, I will test that and do screen shot post.

What ever version you settle on, I think that the interior shadows on icon image need to be darker.

The smaller palette we have, the more valuable the icon is.

This is not always true. The reason I stress such a small pallet is because it makes it easier to fallow another artists style. This also makes it easier for sombody to make changes to the art.

I do not use color pallet in castle walls and Ali-G duplicates this style without problem - Ctrl+c & Ctrl+v :P

Btw Filipa - I do like this helmet, it reminds me what kind of TMW we wish to build. Many races, and among them Tritans. And how we finished? With one white race and plain characters. We got many caps and colorful equipment. Sad but true.

That is because 1) I don't want to loose time downgrading an awesome work and 2) because I'm not a pixel artist?

What can I say... I will quote very old quote:

04/05/05 01:40:10 | <gh5046> It dumps in the database, it dumps out of the database. It takes a dump everywhere.

I think the basic xml placements show what you were after...if not I will adjust.
I downloaded notepad++ and the editing is pretty simple now...anyway let me know.
I like the fin transparency like this better.
This helmet is a super fun thing and atm its mine all mine..mawahahahaha!
