This is my favoured solution since I am no fan of the more saturated graphics. And i wonät be able to fix the more saturated version in some time since I am away from home.
To me, that looks too dark.

To me personally it looks dull with non bright colors. I would really consider using bright ones.

I added the latest version of the icon to the testserver.

Regarding which version to use, one of the things I understood about pixelart is that too saturated colors are a bad thing. And I agree with veryape that the animation of the cap already draws the attention of the eye. Making it additionally very saturated might really be overdoing it.

I'd like to include the Beanie Copter Cap in the next release, which will probably be sometime next week.
Is there anymore feedback?

I'll rework the spritesheet and have a look at the xml file. Many improvements can be made.

I did my best to change the whole spritesheet into pixel art.
I also removed useless offsets from the xml file.
Lastly, "Beanie Copter" is enough, the "Cap" at the end is too much.
EDIT: Added the icon.
EDIT2: Feel free to post your thoughts about the modifications I did. Thanks.

There's noticeable pillow-shading, especially on the blue areas of the 4th row. I'm also not sure about the intensive use of dithering, but I think if pillow shading is removed, then it will look fine.

Thanks for the feedback, that helps a lot! I'll see what I can do tonight.
About the dithering, I thought it was a good idea because the cap has a cloth texture.

It looks mighty fine!

The only thing i see that looks out of place is where the green and blue fields meet on the right-looking row. (Is this the pillow-shading?)

The dithering is no big problem imo, since it could come from the "fabric" of the cap.

Alright, I will try to fix that. That's not pillow-shading, but it is a consequence of it.

Here is the new version with a slightly fixed pillow-shading.
I have no more time to work on this, but I think it's good enough to be used.
Enjoy!

Thanks Ali-G, it looks nice as I stated earlier, however I still think that the dark parts where the fields meets make the side-panels to look like flaps other than that it looks cleaner than mine imo.

Something like that, do you think that you could make a version without the dark transistions between the different fields? This especially affects the right looking image where the blue field looks like a flap to me.

----EDIT----

Also after testing the sprite in game i would say that using the darker propeller would be desirable since the lighter version (that i myself used earlier) tends to blend into the grey walk-paths.

With those small adjustments i think we have a winner!
