Re: WIP: Wolf Tooth (drops)
Ok, next comments:
- This claw is thicker in the middle, this ain't normal to me.
- Why don't you try to represent a sort of hole at the base of the claw, to show that it got ripped off from the hand of a yeti?
Best regards,
Ali

Re: WIP: Wolf Tooth (drops)
Ali, there is a root to the claw, i will try and make it more clear, and i will try my best to make the middle narrower, it is difficult without ruining the actual design, however i will try.

Re: WIP: Wolf Tooth (drops)
There is a better way to do cracks: Instead of just drawing them with the outline color, you can make them much better when you create them by shading. Use the shadow color for the side of the crack which is on the side closer to the light source and the highlight color on the side further away form the light source. It also doesn't hurt to be not that tidy and "forget" a few pixels - it looks more rough that way.
Speaking of rough: When you want an item to have a rough surface (I would recommend that especially for the broken surface of the yeti claw) you can do that through adding some dithering to the shading.

Just a try about the dithering part. I'll leave the rest to Nami.

Re: WIP: Wolf Tooth (drops)
I like the cracks as they are, i have done what Crush had said but it is difficult to see in the small space....and what about the 'break' part of mine?
