As far as I remember, the barbarians are humans, not orcs.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Re: Idea for barbarian npc
Nami worked on creating poses for barbarian NPCs, which will need outfits. You can find the files here:
Trello Card
The idea of poses and outfits is to be able to create different NPCs by combining a base set of poses with many outfits. This is already in use for the children NPCs, see here:
https://github.com/themanaworld/tmwa-cl ... dposes.png
https://github.com/themanaworld/tmwa-cl ... utfits.png
When you want to create an outfit to a pose, you can use the poses file and draw the outfit in another layer.

*Korcha casts Revive*
Very, very rough mock-up Jenalya asked me to do. Waaaaaaaay too unnecessary colors on that player base, I don't know how you guys do it. Also, first time I worked with layers, probably the last, too. Way more efficient without them, imo.
Based off the 1st concept by rodrigo, using the dye palette.
Jen, (can I call ya that?) if you need anything else let me know. So until then, back to the portraits I go!

Re: Idea for barbarian npc
I tested to use the recolor feature on the outfits from Korcha. For the trousers I used the Leather Trousers' dye string, for the belt the 'black' of the items that can be dyed with black dye, and tried different colors for the chest clothes:
As far as I see, the outfit shouldn't have that part on the head, and it might be better if the shoulderpads would use a separate dye channel. And I don't know if it generally needs more shading.
I like the shape of the outfits. Regarding the third pose, I think something like a spear could be added to his hand.As far as I see, the outfit shouldn't have that part on the head, and it might be better if the shoulderpads would use a separate dye channel. Re: Idea for barbarian npc
Totally forgot about these, for the past few days I've been in a slump, plagued with the dreaded artist's block. What sucks is, I could have such a creative rush but by the time I hit the computer, it's long gone..
Anyways, if you need anymore, they'll have to be in black & white fashion. Why? Well you know why. :3
