most monsters can usualy just be reshaded and reused, am i right?

NO.
We are not going to cop out like Blizzard did in Diablo. That technique (if you can even call it that) is a joke among gamers, and makes for uninspired, uncreative gameplay.
Yes, it means more work. It means a hell of a lot more work. But damnit, it's going to make the game a hell of a lot more interesting and fun. The only thing I am willing to pull the "reshade/reuse" trick on is the "imbue [insert element here]" spell. Everything else gets individualized graphics, if I have anything whatsoever to say in the matter.

We'd really have to dig up those spritemaps of these monsters since most of them were lost when the wiki database got borked.. So if anyone has them please send them to any of the devs...
