Graphism association with other projects

Do you think association with other 2D pixart game, will be possible ?
For exchange our pixarts, to use theirs, improve etc...
I think games like this for example :

It can help us, it can help them and it's in the spirit of the GPL.

Sloth has stolen some of its artwork. The item icons are from ragnarok online and I think I have seen the trees somewhere else, too. That isn't in the spirit of the gpl.

like the mana world in his beginning.. May be they want to change the rips by their own graphics.

when they start to develop their own graphics we can think about a cooperation. but then we have to see if the style fits.

It's strange because this project is in GPL. I think if you are rigth they will have copyrigth problems !
