Does anyone use anything but the GIMP to animate an item? I'm wondering, maybe I'm reinventing the wheel working on the armor by overlaying it on the character and drawing each frame out. Or can anyone share their technique? :P Any help is appreciated.

By the way, who likes the Steve Irwin look for tmw characters? Maybe the khaki outfit can be won as a result of a quest, or maybe only made available on his birthday? (Feb. 22 by the way...courtesy of Wikipedia) I don't know, I was just trying to be creative somehow.

I don't.

About the animating... no I don't know any other ways except for drawing every frame individually or editing an existing item.

You can save a bit work by copy&pasting portions of the animation phases you already did. But i guess you found that out yourself.

well im working in the next part of the temple, may be the wall or the floor, but i would like to know if you like it or hate it.

my draft about what i want is something like:

Image

two snakes with the shape of a third snake, so im working in the second draft (just the snake) with out shadows or light yet, but this is the idea"

it needs a lot of work still but before that i would like to know your opinion.

No, animated map tiles are not yet possible.

The floor texture you posted is a bit blurry. It should have better defined edges, in my opinion.

Here are some floor texture doodles i did a while ago. Feel free to use them or get inspired by them:

Crush, thanks for your comment and your ideas, i know the tiles are not finished, but my questions is if you like the idea, those are just very first draft of what i want to do, but the concept of the two snakes with a third snake shape is what i want you to criticize i'll work further just if the idea is good

The idea with the snake statues is ok.

I've heard GAP works great too, but I never got it to work.
