(attempted entrance concept)
It's ugly, but perhaps something can be gained from this thing I made

Len, not ugly at all, its awesome...I like the idea of a secret entrace in the rocks, but we would have to change the light direction (or put a strong source of light close to the door) but I like the whole concept.

We need more omnipotent pixel artists so there's no harm in you mastering everything.
Via experience you gain skill.

(first attempt at different views)
Creating the different views is a lot harder than I had imagined,
this is going to take a few revisions ..
(trying different outlines)
BTW, what was wrong with my original snake?
And where can I find the Tileset I want to add my depth changes?

Very nice, I like it. It could be just me but i'd make the arm in the side view a little more straight.

Len, I used Korcha's snake because the angle and light, but we can use the original snake (yours) inside the temple.
But don't think I (or anyone) is discarting any pixel of the hard work you had put on this project
About the Tileset, I doesn't exist yet, the whole temple is just in preliminar stage.

The question is not if this version is better or not, maybe we are going to use both, one inside the other on the outside.
The question is more about comments or suggestions on that specific version
