While I'm preparing something new for this thread and taking into consideration a ecological system proposed by Rotonen, let me refresh this proposal:

Albeit it states "Area: Between wet places and desertic lands, savannah and/or forest would fit quite well." it can be placed in the mountains.

A while back, I made a sad attempt at one of the monsters in that list. Here is the work that I did, feel free to use it, or ignore it.
