Rotations of exactly 90° or mirroring are safe when you switch of interpolation. Rotations by other angles without interpolation can be used as a first step but afterwards you usually have to do a lot of manual correction. When you do pixel art and you want to use automatic tools always switch off interpolation.

When it would be easy to create new weapon animations we would have plenty of them by now.

Oh, by the way, you really did a god job at resizing the original graphic.
he said he used mtPaint not MsPaint :)

(as you might notice, i changed the Item a little bit, because i thought it would look better)
..and you were right: Gimp only does the best job for this :-)

If you like it, i will do some more...

Really good work, blueberry. There are some issues with the light direction here and there but those can be fixed easily by mirroring.

Heres the fix now - hope the light is okay now, if not please tell me where!
As yosuhara suggested i removed the black outline from most of them, if you want another one to be cut, just tell me.

At first I'd like to say that those weapon icons are quite obsolete. There were made in msPaint at my workplace long time ago. IMO they should be repleaced.

I also think that dagger-like animation isn't good for this kind of weapon. It rather should be SLASH-type animation.

Hello!

I just want to know, if i should make more item-animations, because the effort is only worth, if you can use them. As i said, i am new to this stuff and i dont want to waste time with that, if you wont use the animations i make.

So i dont know if i should start a new one, cos 'i' said he'd like a SLASH-type animation, and well im not good enough todo it myself, but with a little help (change the playerset to the new animation) i would paint it :)

I like it and even if it's probably more suited for a slash movement I don't feel like discarding it. I still have to test it in game though...
