TMW is GPL'd for a reason.

Regards.
Still, seems funny to me.... and the RPG maker tiles make me LOL

Evol should be an example for us regarding content release cycles. Katsuo takes things from our forum and brings them ingame long before we even have them on the subversion repository.

From what I can see our tiles don't seem to be good enough for them.... they rather use the over used RPG maker tilesets

back on topic, what do you think of Enlil

I really like it. You could use alphatransparency for the flames.

Problem is I have so many things I'm working on at this time, I don't know if I'll ever get around to it. :( I was hoping a good mapper would take the desert revision off my hands, freeing me up to work on other things...

Feel free to leave the mapping task to someone else. I'd prefer you to work on pixelation.
Now about Enlil, as Crush already said the flames could be really improved by shading and/or transparency. Also the bottom part looks a bit too flat.

Yes, because we are wasting time talking about two pixels here and there.

Still not in a hurry and consistency is still an issue for us.

The problem is the bureaucracy a new monster or equipment graphic has to get throug to get into TMW. When a graphic artist creates a new equipment graphic he has to:

-get a developer who is familiar with the animation system to realign the spritesheet and create an animation file for it because most new artists don't know how the animation system works
-get a developer to upload it to subversion
-modify the necessary server files or in most cases get someone to do it who knows what he is doing
-get a developer to upload the server files to subversion, too
-get Platyna to apply these to the server

In Evol all this is done by one person.

Is a very good explanation, now I know why, so after the "pixel here and there" nightmare I have to deal with the bureaucracy, It's going to take more time than i thought
