I would like to see a multitude of variations in shape for the bordering tiles of various materials (for example the transition from grass to dirt).

As stated previously by Saphy, would just bring a more natural feel to it instead of looking like a maintained field (soccer/football).

There doesn't seem to be enough variation of plants. I have created a few small ones:

I love your work so much Saphy!! So unbelievably elegant

but they just kind of fade into the grass tile :(

Uping the brightness and saturation seems to be helping and perhaps an outline or dark boarder might help. :?:

Indeed, it doesn't blend very well with the grass tile. Adding outline isn't very possible with graphics this small.

I have increased the saturation and contrast as suggested:

It may not be very visible on greenery, but it should look fine in front of tree, rock, or dirts. I may add flowers to the plants at the bottom row, but it is getting late, so I should sleep instead. :p

Yea, that and some shadow please. Plants look great though.

I encountered this problem, too. The grass melts with almost any kind of green object because it uses such a wide range of color tones.

Oh, by the way, the plants look just great.

Thanks. I have added white flowers on one of the plants as promised, and added another plant.

I think the grass tile is just not up to the standards and needs to be redone anyway at some point.

This just brought it up to "concurrent issues".

What's wrong with that grass tile? I love it

The scale of the grass?

Could just be a personal preferrence, though. Also the proposed overlay/particle effect galore could remedy my scepticism.

I've been trying to study and take ideas from this professional tileset.

Wow, that's professional indeed. I have added two big leaf'ed plants and tried adding shadow:

And if the colour of the grass tile is lightened, we get this (with shadow):

Impressive work
And I think lightening the grass is going to work nicely, just not that light.
