I have fixed a few pixels to make it more natural:

Or do you prefer the hair stucking out in dead position as in the unfixed version?

And Crash, I thought you want this style instead of the longer version since the curly version is already long.

I would like to have a long and curly style and a long and flat style. As you said this style is otherwise very similar to the one by sir lance.

Sir lance's version is actually longer than mine, only a few straits of hair are left long in my character.

But anyway, I have created a longer version just to see, but it doesn't seem as stylish.

Maybe adding an hair pin will help?

Hi Rotonen, long time no see ^_^

I am glad to see you back. I was getting bored, so I am making pixels now. But I really should be studying instead :p

The above style (style #7) is way too unnatural. I am thinking of using this style instead:

Shouldn't we use this version instead for the long straight hair?

It introduces more variations.

I would refrain from having any accessoires like hairbands, ribbons, pins etc. in the base hairstyles as such things should be wearable equipment.

Perhaps. Is it possible to have it as accessory then? It would of course requires certain hair style.

looks good so far, but you shouldn't use mirroring that much. It would be ideal when you would use the dark colors a bit more in the right side and the bright colors a bit more in the left side to establish a light direction.
I've been a little hurry last week, but i'm still working on that. I listened to your sugestion and made some changes:

After and Before.
Is not a very big change to me, it's almost imperceptible... but... i dont know... xD

I think this doesn't count as hairband or what have you. This is more like a braid or ponytail. And I like it.
