Sorry...

busy day... still dont finished the last animation of mouboo.
i hope finish it by tomorrow.

btw.
I'm thinking about remake npcs and playerset after i finish mouboo, since there are too many different kinds of art of the npcs, and most of them are different from playerset.

here is something:

so do you think: "OMG that Yuuki must be a idiot, man surely he will take a year to finish it. so we gonna have to remake the hairs, armors, and etc... no way"

^^ I say: no worries. 1st: I'll finish it as fast as i can ^^, common trust me. 2nd: the hair and current equips still looking pretty good on it, and i also want to remake them.

here is a picture of in game play:

as you can see the sprite changed but still the same ^^

=] that's my world, with moubos and new npc x)

If you're talking about redoing the playerset in proper perspective, I support your decision.

If we recreate the playerset from scratch we will never reach an end

I support it when you change the sitting pose to something more appropiate for male and female characters and when you make an attack animation that can be used for more different weapons than just knives (I am thinking about a more swing-like attack animation where the middle frame can be used together with one or two other frames to create a stabbing animation).

ok finished the important tasks of mouboo.

=] just fixing pixels and animating the damn ear :)

^^ omg I'm tired of it =P if i see a mouboo in the game i'll kill it cause it was hard to make x), i still accepting comments about the sprite, not that i'd agree with most of them =D

looking forward to next monster :)

maybe http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/ ... lizard.png or http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/ ... ower01.png or anoter monster that i made the Concept art but did not scanned (i draw a lot during Analytical Geometry class at university, cause that class is damn boring =D)

or even i make itens, tiles or etc... =P

The "up" attack animation doesn't look at it is attacking at all.

=/ i know it seens a bit different from the other animations, but listen...

"you're eathing, them someone take a picture from behind you..."
i'm sure that when someone look at the picture of you, it will not know that you were eating cause, he can't see your mouth openned or chewing.

just think that animation as a tackle, since you cant see it's biting the target.
but if you think it's really bad i cant try to do another. I just want you to know that making a animation that does'nt show its face or its neck animated is really hard.

I believe the problem lies with the head. For example, in the other animation, the ears flew upward/sideway, but that isn't the case for the up animation.

Moreover, the shading gave the feeling the the head didn't move at all. You may try to change the shape/shading when it lowering its head etc... For example, you could draw the head at a lower position with lighter shading on its neck during the up attack animation.

I love the down and side attack animations. Great work. :)
