I liked the old arms better. The old ones gave it a dangerous look while it looks quite innocent and harmless with the new ones.

The walking animation looks very clumsy. I would suggest you to google some tutorials about how to animate walking cycles. Like this one, for example: http://www.idleworm.com/how/anm/02w/walk1.shtml

By the way: can someone move this to the graphic development forum?

Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Also perhaps some killing intent into the attack animation..? (Put it into a mockup attacking the playerset to see whether it's even looking like it attacks the player.)

How about a Poll to define his name?! "Alien" is just a temporary name!

I got alot of problems with the old one, lights, textures, angles, walking cycles, attacking cycles, and with the new arms it lookin a bit more "professional", at least for me...bout the walkin cyrcles, i'm about to add 2 new frames to the 3 existing ones.
Thanks..

you should really checkout that recommended tutorial... right now your sprite doesn't look like walking more like stomping... his legs are totally stiff

ditto what Crush said about the arms

I'd say it's more about the head remaining static in relation to foot movement in this case. Mostly it does not have to look right in its entirety, but rather just have the key factors right. People attach their eyes to the key factors and they are usually the ones that define the character and move the most.
