Well, if I want to complain, I would say that the male version doesn't look awesome enough. And the female version looks too awesome, I'm almost jealous. (:P)

Apparently a 3 pixel width of belly showing is a hot topic.

Just be nice and give the ladies what they want.

It's not about the skin-- this is about the fact that the male version is `long enough' while the female one for the very same item isn't, thereby implying that one is natural for men and the other natural for women. Using the other two spritesheets everyone can now pick what they personally prefer.

As for the sprite, nice work, but the botton outline for male sprite is too dark, and the stomach area of the female sprite is too blurry.

Also, remember that directional light doesn't lose intensity.

Yes which is why we should allow them as much variety as we can (so they can customize their character to fit their personality).
