We are thinking of changing the TMW logo.

Now your help is needed!

We want YOU to design a nice logo for The Mana World and we will use the best one for the game.

Isn't that a challenge for you ??

logo should be silmply - future prints on t-shirts, goods, etc
unique - the most important thing
and have also B&W version

I'll try make something nice.

I would reccommend something which has the following properties:
- Simple
- Draws attention (using contrasting colours, different patterns etc.)
- Looks great
- Fits purpose/context

People who wish to contribute their titles may want to review (commercial) game titles. Have a look at the various design patterns and see what will fit The Mana World most.
eg.
Ultima
Quake
Neverwinter Nights
Secret of Mana
etc.

IMVHO that logo is not acceptable.

My idea is to have a logo that represent the game, so probably the image of a globe, with a greenish aura around it which is mana. Then a great looking text, but still no ide where to place it...
Having also an animated version to show on the main page with the world spinning and the aura glowing could be cool, if I have time I'll try to create a sample or if someone wants to

Hmm I like that one too, even though I agree with Elven maybe we could make it a bit more realistic. Next to that I'd propose a change in direction:

Of course both variants could be used where appropriate.

I like Elven's. Bjorn's reminds me a bit too much of FF7.

Elven, I think the thinner ring looks a lot better, though the brightness of the planet in the second image is a bit better. I still have a problem with the blurry edge of the planet.

Kyokai, I never played FF7 and don't know its logo. Anyway, I was just doing some small modifications to i's logo.
