[WIP] Ring

Post by EJlol »

A simple golden ring:Image

I also like this ring to be used as an template to create other rings. Here I drawed an quick example: Image
I suggest that different people try to draw different (larger) things on the ring to see if there is still enough room left for it in sprite icon.

Feel free to try to draw something on the ring. And ofcourse feel free to give comments on the ring itself.

When it is supposed to be an universal template you should design it to be redyable so you can easily use the graphic for a silver or copper ring or a ring with a differently colored gemstone.

A bit flatly shaded and doesn't appear shiny. Metal is tricky.

What some people don't understand is that to make some thing shiny you have to add a white glare to the side the light hits. As soon as you blend some white shading to the color gold, silver, iron, or what ever, it stops being recolorable.
