The style does not match at all. We try to get a nice looking retro 2d style. Not a 3d rendered style.

I've been messing with a re-vamp of the woodland village tileset. This is still a VERY rough WIP.

It is resized. I made them much larger then scaled them down to fit the small tile size. I actully think I botched the job on the roof and will prolly scrap that part.
Yhea I think that it's more of a rendered style that dosn't fit the retro look, but I think the retro look is kinda cheesy and wanted an alternative. I don't expect TMW to actually use this, just posted it to show some people what I was talking about in game the other day. I plan on doing actual work for the aethyra project and have even considered making my own fork.

Then just give us the art, they'll take it anyways. ;)

This doesn't fit in too well with the desired style, but IMHO, it's actually closer than the old set, it just went to far.

When you know that the graphics you made don't fit into TMW then please don't waste your and our time by posting them here.

When you want to work for Aethyra then please post in their forum.

Somehow that screams "playing PSX in an emulator with filtering on" to me.

However that is achieved, it's not for us.
