As you can see, I based the model on the noh-mask that is already in game, and worked from that to this. I'm especially unhappy about the last position (death) any feedback?

The left or right frame turned face down, without the the headband.
A bonfire instead.

You can't copyright that mask. Thats the same as copyrighting the wheel.

No there's no copyright issue, guy fawkes is an actual historical figure, and "guy fawkes day" is celebrated in uk yearly. In the movie they used this figure to base their story on, meaning it's not their intellectual property or trademark or whatever. To give another comparison, our santa hat + beard is not a copyright infringement of john pasquin's 1994 "Santa Clause" (or any other movie with santa in it).

I know who guy fawkes was, I think the problem is more the later of use of the mask.(V for Vendette and Anonymous) But I admit that I am not a lawyer so you might be perfectly right.

I've been trying to tinker with it, but any change seems to be for the worse, so if you're happy with it, yeah you can add it.

I would propose giving it a wig as well. Shiny, black and fake. If you're good at pixelling, make a black V cloak to go with it. Ooh! And make these throwing knives, and when you use them, everybody slows right down so they can barely move, and they curl through the air and leave trails of grey. Make these very expensive, though, otherwise you'd get ****ed off with not being able to move all the time. Make these knives cost several k each or so, and give them +500 attack.

V for Vendetta is one of my favourite movies... I'd like to read the comics one day.

i recently said that a guy fawkes mask would be great in-game and someone pointed me to this.
overall the mask looks great, except for death pose (but hey, how long does a body lay around anyway)
2nd- copyright. as far as i know there is no copyright on this mask. neither vertigo nor marvel (both having ownership of v for vendetta comics/movie) have one. this is a widely made mask. plus, it is based on guy fawkes' face which isnt really copyrightable; furthermore, this is a free and open source game, meaning you gain no profit from it, which circumvents most copyrights.

any chance we can see this by/on guy fawkes day? XD
