Wouldn't it be nice if you could equip a wooden log, and hit monster with it?
i dont think it requires much work to implement it. and i will look in how to implement it myself if i have time next week.

The idea of hitting things with a wooden log brings to mind my own ability to wield a wooden log: slow and clumsy.

It's an interesting idea, no doubt. But by the time my character is able to kill a LogHead, I've probably got a sharper, faster and better weapon by that point than a basic, heavy club.

Are you thinking of using this club as a regular weapon? Or would it be for some special purpose. The non-projectile weapons I know of:

+ 05 damage: Knife
+ 10 damage: Sharp Knife
+ 15 damage: Dagger
+ 75 (Damage) Scythe

Would you be thinking of putting it between Daggar and Scythe like this?

+ 25 damage: Wooden Log

We could just do a wooden club that you can buy, or have made from a raw log.

Now that's a good idea. I think a weapon somewhere between the scythe and the dagger would probably be a good item to add to the game. The dagger gets tiring fairly soon and the scythe seems along way off when you're a new player.

I like the idea of a club that can be made from a few pieces of wood.

Zeeli. That's a good one! I like it. A wooden log could yield, say, 50 to 100, depending on the "quality" of the wood (adding a random factor).

Not unreasonable for the game, I believe.
