i'd actually love to see a ground cover tile that's clover, so we could have a cloverfield. maybe a variation tile would have a 4-leaf clover on it (if you look at it close enough).

looks good, but seems to be missing something ...

I think the best way about this is a similar "monster" like the colored herbs. Have a "clover" monster with 1hp that doesn't attack. And that drops a 4leaf-clover; a rare drop I reckon; rarest ever.

I've tried my hand at a clover patch sprite (intended as monster like the herbs and not intended as tile)

Here's how it looks over the grass tile from woodlands:

For drop rate I suggest:
*) 0.01% for the rare 4-leaf-clover
*) Perhaps it could also drop something else, I'm thiking generic weed, which you could collect for a quest to help out a gardener?
