Yeah Talaroc, I've noticed the "jagged-pixely" look too...
I'll try to "anti-alias" it and make it transparent later today or tomorow... :?

Hair animations seems like a cool idea. 8)

BTW: All I use is microsoft paint to make all my stuff... I had other programs but my computer got reformatted a while ago and I lost 'em all.
So, I need to download some programs before I can edit the hairs... :(

Kinetic, I'd realli like if you could join our IRC channel so we can share ideas or maybe you can start working on something else as well?

I would join IRC but something came up and I can't be on the computer alot this week... :( so later this week or over the weekend I'll be able to finally work on something and chat...

So.. that means you won't hear from me alot within the next 3 to 5 days. :?

why would you anit-alias pixel art. :? That just takes away from the fact that it IS pixel art. Just need smoother transition colors.

Its ok if you anti-alias but if you use to much it looks bad (well for me), no offence to talaroc thought.

Kinetic, maybe you can try to improve side faces, I don't really like the nose...

Elven, The nose was done by Talaroc I think.
I tried to improve it a while ago: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y203/M ... c_edit.png

I don't know if you had seen it already.

Sure I've seen it, but I think it still needs some improvement, that's why I'm asking Kinetic for another idea

Or you could easily get rid of it:

Erasing the nose and correcting the eyelid abit still make it look just as good as it did with a nose. If your aiming for realism Elven then I can understand that a nose would be necessary.

But the nose isn't seen from the front either, and I don't think we're looking for realism.
I'd move the eye a little pit to the front though, now it looks like it's on the side of his head.

Hmm this way maybe it looks better, but the face is so flat, I think it just need a 2 or 3 pixel nose...

I think it looks fine with the nose...
anyway I made some improvements to the side faces... they are kinda hard to see but they are different.

I didn't get to "anti-alias" them or make them transparent yet because I'm on my dad's computer and he won't let me download or install anything on it... :?

I mostly changed the side view on the top hair so the nose looks a little different (I didn't change the nose at all only the hair).

Yes, I really think Kinetic shows what was also said earlier, that the nose is really fine, especially with some hair added. Imagine captain Picard from the side, his lack of hair makes his nose really stand out as well.
