I think that slimes carrying it around is just temporary until mining is implemented.

even so as is if they dont change the monster that carries it dosent look rite

Sorry to bump this thread, but in case anyone was considering this: I prefer the original.
I do like the images, though, it's just the old iron ore is, well, Iron Ore.
