Well the fact that it blend in the grass is proof enough that it is indeed a nature amulet :D

Almost forgot about this...
Here's the version with the outline:

and the outline vs non-outline thumbs:

for comparison purposes.

I somehow feel that if the bell was tilted to an angle instead of standing upright, then a significant amount detail can be added to enhance the image. For example, a view of the ellipse on the underside bell would already add definition to the overall shape.

Jumpy,

#15 is very close. The texture on the left segment is a bit odd and there is no (or very little) texture on the right segment, so some minor polishing here could help it a little. The central vertical line is a tad too straight; perhaps you could break it in one point, as if someone had pressed their thumb against it (to emphasise the `soft and malleable' property.)

A lump of clay is actually not that easy to do. Here is an attempt I made this morning (using pure grey, i.e., dyeable):

It looks a bit like a squished mushroom, though...

Perhaps some ideas from this attempt (roundishness, size, dents, bulges etc.) may help?

Fate & Jumpy, they're both very great! But I have to say I prefer Fate's, but they're both so close... whichever isn't used should still be used for something :o

Hi,

for the record: Black Don's suggestions were instrumental in fixing the amulet graphics. (I couldn't credit him earlier since he vanished before I could ask for permission to do so.)

Hi,

for the record, the following icons are still unclaimed (difficulty levels are guesses):
  • A mystical tablet
  • An unwieldly-looking black sword
  • An ingot (dyeable)
  • An egg-shaped cactus (no visible roots or otherwise; it should look like a `cactus egg')

it's lame, but maybe someone like Fother could fiddle with it a little :)

How big do you want the big awkward black sword? and would you like it dye-able rather then black? what kind of decorations? gold, gems...

Remember, icons are limited to 32x32. Graphics guidelines.

Ok :) I just wasn't sure if it was a map decoration or if it was an item. I will make about 4 drafts at 32x32

Thanks
Pan
