Re: [REQ] Wind monster
A wind monster is indeed a hard challenge. How do you display something like moving air which is invisible, after all?
Maybe you should rather go for the "living cloud" approach.

Re: [REQ] Wind monster
by drawing white ribbons of air with transparency? :) It should be like wind, we do not see it, but we see objects moving around - by objects i mean leafs, sand, etc. It could be tornado, but mostly drawn with white and light-gray colors.Crush wrote:A wind monster is indeed a hard challenge. Re: [REQ] Wind monster

Re: [REQ] Wind monster
I think a combination of wind and cloud is what would look best like something like this.
I should try animating it on a grass background, plus the conversion an animated gif is dropping a lot of the alpha I have on it.

Don,
it's a little hard to judge on that background, but in principle this should work very well. (Plus, you only need one movement animation and one attack animation.)

I quite like it, but it's not very dynamic below the top.Black Don wrote:here is a better look on the grass background

Also, I think those "spinning blobs" should be a little smaller.
