[REQ] Grass in cave tile set

Hello, I am working for on a project which is going to require me to have green stuff (like grass and plants) in a cave. The current tile set is not working well, so I am requesting a simple tile set, that will let us put grass onto cave floors. Heres what I have right now (tiled by Jax)

As you can see, its not working out so well :(

I don't know if this tile set could help with anything maybe trees or adding some stone paths in the grass or cave or what ever but let me know :)

Good start, with the grass can you add some transparencies or less grass on the edges.

I want this to look natural, the way it is now, it looks very clean. Like it was cut that way.

Since caves don't mostly have natural light, how about having roots growing down or thick treetrunk sized stuff growing through it? Also there was a mushroom project a while ago which died, which could fit the need.

You can not take the outdoor grass and use it in a cave. It just doesn't work.

Moss would be more plausible in a cave than grass. Maybe Kage can give us some more details why exactly he needs vegetation in a cave.

Meway, when you create floor textures, keep in mind that you need at least 13 tiles:
1x full
2x horizontal edge
2x vertical edge
4x outer corner
4x inner corner

When you are skilled and the transmission from texture to texture doesn't have to be very elaborated you can substitute the 8 inner and outer curves with 4 diagonals, but this will require a bit of cheating at the tile edges which might be a bit too advanced for you yet.

I made a diagram once which got linked here a lot, but unfortunately I can't find it right now.

Kage made this request, not fate. I can explain it for you on IRC.

IMHO, the entire cave tileset should be replace with this type of texture:

additionally some moss covered rocks should add to the ambience:

In most classic games I've played, greenish caves traditionally have these hanging "green leavy curtain-like" things hanging on the cave walls. i can't find a picture though, but i'll look and edit my post.

Crush you mean a standard set like this one with the minimum of 13 tiles in a set? It was not so hard to figure out after I understood what you said. So how is it?

I made a second version of that first for more possibilities for randomization and i added some mossy objects.....meway
also got some mushrooms as a bonus.

very cool tiles, meway!

roots coming out of walls is a great idea. I have never seen a cave with vegetation inside
