You have some good vision, Porter. Keep practicing and check out the many tutorials on the mana world wiki. Also, when you post your work, expect it to be heavily criticized. This will be to help you, not to harass you.

Cheers

I removed the [REQ] tag from this topic because it is not a request.

Did you create this for TMW? When you did so I am not sure for what you created it because animated inventory icons are not possible.

I'd like to support that ASAP. Or at least support a separate animation for when they're on the floor.

I didn't really have any intentions for this, I just figured I'd throw it out there.

but i think it would make a cool quest item or something

Maybe inventory items could animate when hovering over them.
Nice animation btw.

I would also like to have particle effects attached to inventory icons. While this is not a problem for items on the ground it is not that trivial for items on the GUI.

Ooh, someone who knows how to do glitter.

You could try to do something about our icy cave tileset.

A full redo and expansion of the tileset is more than possible.

The same also applies to the current normal cave tileset.

Also if animation is your thing, our playerset is in a desperate need of finishing it. Either a full redo or finishing the current one: the one to finish first and be usable gets my full support. I'm tired of having the development of our current one drag on for years and years while it is for example drawn in the wrong perspective.

All of our current in-game imagery you can find by browsing tmwdata on Gitorious. All of the in-development and abandoned stuff you can mostly find on these forums.

I would love to help, but Its kinda hard doing animations with the programs I'm using (MAC), I have a very buggy version of paint for making the images and I use photoshop CS4 for making them a GIF. image. So how do you make the animations, and are there any programs (Free for MAC) that would make it easier to make animations?

GIMP is what most people here use. Also for OS X.
