ok maybe Ae beat us to it. But it would be really cool!
You get a programmer to come up with a solution to the layering issues eA causes you have a full sprite sheet that I made talking to sanga here. With both double layer that would over come the layer issues and a single that you can test and see why it does not work.Kage wrote:ok maybe Ae beat us to it. But it would be really cool!
I was thinking of that, I think the issue can be resolved by changing the layering based upon the direction the player is facing.Black Don wrote:You get a programmer to come up with a solution to the layering issues eA causes you have a full sprite sheet that I made talking to sanga here. Great game....illusions of Gaia

That cape looks good, and it's really easy..adamaix wrote:The best cape I've ever seen goes to Freedan (Will's alter self) in illusions of Gaia.
A full length cape that like has too many issues. Leg armor that extends past the player's legs gets cut off by the cape that's supposed to be behind it. We are looking at a more flexible sprite layering system that would allow us to do capes that are separate items.Lizandra wrote:I started this yesterday...I wanted to know your opinion about it.
The cape is attached to a shirt (its not possible to make just the cape is it?)...Also the shading looks kind of weird, but still, what do you think?
