I was chatting with a few people on the #themanaworld and it was suggested that the logo could use a redo in vectors.

Here for you to peruse, and critique. I did cheat somewhat, I turned the image from the geography link into a vector image and used that for the landmass.

IMO it looks a bit to earth like. I prefer the green globe.

I wouldn't replace the current logo, but that looks nice. Not really a logo, but I'm sure it'll find some usage.

How about you blow that up a bit and do an actual world map properly stylized? Our current world maps could use a bit of improvement.

The continents look too 2dimensinal in comparison to the globe itself. And what do the shadows under the continents? They make them look like flying over the sea.

In my opinion, it looks like a sheet of continents stuck onto a globe. They need to stretch in the centre and curve away toward the edge. Also make them bigger.

i like the idea of the tmw but i am personaly missing some fantasy on this like dragons or some images that get me into the tmw stile

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong but the present mana world game area is the little island in the middle right?

We're not really following it at the moment. The current woodland will be there, though. The current desert maps will be dropped (assuming I have my way).

Excuse me for possibly sounding silly, but isn't png a bitmap format? Where is the vector version?
