I made squirrel's tail. I think that one of NPCs can make something for such tails. For example tailor in Snow Town can make V-neck for 50 squirrel's tails.

sorry but it looks like a piece of wood. maybe a little more....furry?

edit: you might look at the fur boots for an idea of making it look furrier.

I'm a pixel noob too, so I wont insult you.

I trying to learn with:
-these tutorials: http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Guidelines
-read some topic in "graphic development", you will find some interesting WIP etc...
-practice, draw a lot, but only show your "best" work* => here you need your own critical mind

it's hard for me to draw an existing thing without model.
Check some photos and look at them carefully:
ex:
http://ellie.shutterchance.com/photos/1 ... e_8ada.jpg
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_qXHZUmUcrYM/S ... %20il2.JPG
Use the existing squirrel :

Compare your work with some on tmw. If your drawing is better than one existing, you are on a good way. If not: you have to work again

Note: a tail is not a banana.

*dont look at mine, I'm not an example

Look at what "i" posted in the stone gate thread on the 3rd page about the black outline. Try using that and yes i have to agree that it does look like a banana now. The leg looks plastic. Its all about adding texture. It takes more than just filling an area with one color to get a texture.

Lets not go there!

It might also be helpful to use textures that are already in the game
