This won't work. The positioning of the feet in the down- and up walk animation is different between the gender sprites.
I would also suggest to make them more boot-like so that they don't look stupid when worn alone. Note that leg armor is always drawn over feet armor.

But you need other frames of the sprite.

CR1 is not related to the eA server all that much. The servers and content projects will coexist as long as the eA server still has players. There is no sudden doomsday coming.
So all art contribution is appreciated on this side of the fence too.

still working on the sprites (SLOWLY). I wanted to get some thoughts on the work done thus far to convert the shoes to boots.....If anyone is interested in lending a hand, I'll be more than happy to send you the xcf file to play around with....Oh, and icon could certainly use some work

Ok, finished hightening boots....still needs work on shading etc....will finish male sheet and then tackle female...still hoping for thoughts etc...Including the xcf file this time with the male sheet layer....Feel free to play around with....

Thank you Dude for letting me see that. I'll consider adding them along with some platemail legs.
Skipy, if you can separate your Warlord legs from the sprites and post them here, they will reach the game rather soon. I have many things to do, otherwise I'd just do it myself. Your help is appreciated.

sure thing ....here you go....mite need some touch ups,but im done for the night(eyes cant look at it any more)...let me know if needs fixing
