If you've seen the 70s sci-fi movie Darkstar, you can see that the idea has already been used before and hence it wouldn't be original.

Original is creative, but creative isn't always original. Furthermore, imaginative is creative, but creative isn't necessarily imaginative. Imaginative is only original in few cases and trying to connect the two is dangerous.
