I really have an issue with neko not being active on the forums and not being active in IRC.

Well lately he is not active at all since he is moving back to his home town IIRC. And the times he showed up in IRC you were not there, but I'll tell him to get in contact with you when he comes back, or you can just send him emails, he rarely checks them, but you might be lucky.

I was talking about the first one.

now where the bat is ingame i noticed that it looks as if it is crawling on the floor. so i added a shadow (20x10 pixels, anti aliasing on, color 0x000000, 50% alpha transparency). in my opinion they look more like they are flying in midair now. i also placed the bat a little bit higher so that it is on eye height of the characters.

want me to upload it to the svn?

i also noticed that the bats drop quite strange things. is that because there aren't item sprites for bat-like loot items? in that case i could make some, too.

I agree flying creatures should have a shadow beneath them... but it could be better. It should be more like a blop rather then a sharp circle.

I think bat teeth shouldn't be drawn as an entire set of teeth. It's like you take out his fake teeth after he dies. I suggest it to be displayed as a single fang with the size of this entire set.

I think the wing could be bigger and I think it looks better if it's angled. So rotated 45 degrees.
