A while back I was asked to make a song for a new beginning of TMW game. I had brought it up in IRC and was asked to post it here. My first submission was very abstract and may be good somewhere else, so here is Genesis-2 as posted in IRC:

As I said on IRC I think this will fit in very nicely in the starting sequence. I really enjoy even just listening to it now.

It's nice though I don't recommend this song as a beginning song. It's very uninviting and sounds something for more of a darker themed area in the game especially the beginning of the song. IMO songs introducing you into a game should feel more welcoming or more adventure oriented, unless that's not what tmw is focused on anymore?

I can think of several games that have a very mysterious theme at the beginning. I like all of those games.

Mysterious is one thing, feeling like you're in the middle of a harsh game is another though. Especially for a theme for something like TMW. Which...really isn't a dark game lol quite the opposite really unless you go to the graveyard.
